About Matt Hawkins

Matt is a Pensacola native and a graduate of Woodham High School. A dedicated athlete, he pursued his passion for baseball at Northwest Florida State College, Alabama Southern, and the University of West Alabama before returning home to complete his Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from the University of West Florida.

Prior to entering real estate, Matt built a successful decade-long career in building materials and architectural sales, where he developed a strong foundation in client service, negotiation, and industry knowledge. He transitioned into real estate in 2018 and has since established himself as a trusted professional known for his work ethic, market insight, and commitment to client success.

Matt joined Avenue Realty to align with a team of driven, growth-focused professionals and a brokerage model designed to support long-term success. He was particularly drawn to the company’s structured approach and the leadership behind its continued expansion. He is excited to contribute to and grow with the organization in this next phase of his career.

Outside of real estate, Matt is a devoted husband and father of four daughters. He actively coaches youth soccer and enjoys spending time on the golf course, where he has notably achieved a hole-in-one.
